Credit File Management Officer needed in Lagos State

Job Summary

Assists the Team Lead, Credit Files & Documentation Custody in the centralization and warehousing of all customers’ security documents (collaterals) in a vault.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collection of new security documents (for fresh facilities and renewal) from branches, head office departments, CBG and warehousing them in the vault
  • Authenticates to ensure that the collected documentation conforms with the Bank’s standard documentation whilst complying with local legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
  • Maintains a master checklist with respect to each facility type and also ensures that the checklist is completed in terms of required documents and duly signed by the branch and customer
  • Ensure the vault is secured under dual control lock (combination lock and key)
  • Ensure the documents received are captured in the security document database
  • Ensure regular update of the security documents database with new documents and those released to RMs
  • Ensure the release of security documents to RMs in according to the bank’s policy.
  • Ensures the register is signed and photocopied documents endorsed with details of his / her name, staff ID, GSM no and signature
  • Recording of documents to be released in the log register with the photocopies kept in customer file
  • Ensure complete documentation review and approval on STAR Credit Workflow (after receiving the physical documents).

Requirements

  • A good First Degree in any discipline
  • A Second Degree would be an added advantage
  • Not more than 28years
  • 2 – 3 years minimum experience in File Management
  • Good knowledge of the various types of Security documents (Collateral)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application (strong knowledge in Excel)
  • Ability to use Credit application system.
